Synopsis
“Special and exceptional cases” have always been trigger words in government offices and public authorities. But since a meteorite crash, nothing in the small German town of Querlitz has been “normal” anymore. The series follows the Task Force — a four-person team of social workers and bureaucrats — as they navigate their insane daily work routine: special cases that defy all responsibilities, formalities and imagination.
Three animated Episodes – Three Escalations
Episode 1: Suspected Case with Significant Doubts
What starts as an informational event turns into a case that should technically fall under the jurisdiction of the Youth Welfare Office.
Episode 2: Legally Incomprehensible Partnership
Welfare applications have always been complicated, but since reality began to blur after the meteorite crash, the officials are starting to see double.
Episode 3: Assemblies of an Unlawful Kind
The dog Goldi takes over the case of a hoarding pet owner and dares to go on a dangerous undercover mission on site.
